This weekend we will be hosting an Unbound priest and fellow in training for the priesthood. “My entire priestly ministry has been working with the poor. Traveling to Guatemala with my parents who sponsor over 30 years, I know firsthand the great work Unbound does for children and the elderly. It’s a privilege to be part of Unbound and its mission.” Ordained at the Basilica Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C., Redemptorist Father John Olenick has served in parishes in the Bronx, New York, Philadelphia, St. Lucia, Baltimore and Washington D.C. He has ministered to Spanish and English-speaking communities. In Washington D.C., he currently serves as the Provincial Vicar of the Baltimore Province of the Redemptorists. Father Olenick enjoys reading, walking and playing the guitar.
